Barkley Meadows Park

Medium-sized park in southeastern Travis County, just south of the intersection between 130 and 71. It has two large retention ponds, several wide paved hiking trails, a playscape, and lots of picnic tables with barbecue grills.

Sandy Creek Park

A park located in Travis county, it offers the following activities and amenities: a boat ramp, barbecue grills, drinking water, fishing, picnic tables, primitive campsites (20), and restrooms. Access to these activities is provided, but additional equipment is not. Note that there are no hook-ups for electricity and water in the campgrounds. Those engaging in water-based recreation should use caution to avoid zebra mussels. This park resides in a quiet cove and features a serene, wooded environment.
